Hello! My name is John and I’ve been a member of Creator Economy since its inception. I’ve been involved with content creation for 9 years as of 2025 and I’ve sought out quality information and mentorship on a regular basis. I had grown a YouTube channel (Morbid Curiosity) to over 200,000 subscribers by myself, and gone full time, but I always felt like there was something off. I was making videos, I was making a living, but it felt like there was some sort of artificial roof that I wasn’t able to break out of.
It didn’t matter the amount of research or reading, I needed someone to take the time to understand not only my channel, but my goals as well, and help me create a plan – a path – to achieve the goals I have sought out for myself.
I have been taught more since Creator Economy accepted me into their program than I could have ever managed myself. They’ve been able to discuss content creation and offer guidance in every aspect, front to back. From title & thumbnail brainstorming, all the way down to how to manage your team and even how to find your team. Literally – almost step by step – they will help you achieve your goals to the best of their ability.
There’s weekly meetings where guidance is offered as well as reviewing the previous weeks work. I have found this especially helpful for keeping myself accountable, and it definitely helps push to have deadlines met. This was something that I found especially difficult when I began looking at content creation from a business mindset. It’s incredibly difficult, at least to me, to stay accountable when the person you need to answer to is yourself. “You can’t fire yourself,” right? This particularly toxic mindset that I was really having a hard time break out of for years I was able to chisel away with the help of Creator Economy.
The water’s warm – come on in! Well worth it and you won’t regret it! See you at the next meeting!
The most valuable experience I’ve received from being apart of this group is the importance of consistency in the progression an individuals channel and how important community is in helping one delineate the direction and goals they would like to achieve.
I love the community, I feel like my channel has gotten so much better and everyone is so supportive and nice, especially as people just starting out!
